1) Write the date that you sign the application.
2) Write 1 year for less than 1 year of work. You experience letter should show the actual situation.

in this form you have to mention experience in which you are eligible if you are eligible in only one then fill for that, dont mention for the NOC in which you are not eligible however in background declaration form you will start from the age of 18 and fill all the activities. read the guide carefully :)

What are you talking about? Please don't mislead people if you aren't sure. Schedule 3 economic forms asks for the applicant's employment history in addition to the primary NOC one is applying for. There are two separate questions for the two in this same form. You need to mention all the work experience in different NOCs you have had over the last 10 years. This will help you get points for those. I suggest you read the form more carefully.

Question 12
Your work experience

a) Identify the primary occupation and corresponding four-digit NOC 2011 code that will be used to assess whether your application meets the minimum program requirements. Choose one occupation from the list you provide in your answer to 12b).

b) Starting with your current occupation, list all of the occupations that you have had in the 10 years preceding the date of your application. For each occupation:

identify the dates of employment,
write a description of your occupation,
include the appropriate NOC 2011 code,
check the box that corresponds to the number of years of continuous full-time or equivalent in continuous part-time experience, and
write a description of your main duties.
Note: List only occupations that fall in Skill Type 0, Skill Levels A or B of NOC 2011.

And what do you think it means? NOC O, A, and B includes all the skilled occupations regardless of whether they are in the eligibility list or not. For your convenience, take a look at all the NOCs that are classified as NOC type O,A, or B.

For Skill Type 0, Skill Levels A or B, basic eligibility is minimum one year EXPERIENCE, if he has not minimum one year experience how he is eligible and how he will mention this occupation in that form, you are advising him for misrepresentation by converting 9 months experience into one year(by converting non eligible to eligible)???? this form is to facilitate the visa officer for eligible occupation only and for complete employment history is background declaration form.

Again, you are wrong. The minimum of one year requirement is for your primary NOC that will be used for basic eligibility for FSW. This primary occupation will be mentioned in the first question in 12a. But you can still claim points for all of your other work experiences in NOC O,A, or B. These other experiences need to be listed in 12b. For these other experiences, there is no minimum requirement.

This form is not only to assess your eligibility but also to assess points you can claim. Why don't you read the background history form and tell me where you are asked to mention your employment history?

Noone here is talking about the eligibility except you. Listing all the experiences is important 1) for claiming points for them and 2) to avoid misrepresentation by hiding your experience.

In any case, the original poster of this thread already knows what to do. There is no point in you and me going back and forth about it. Read the guidelines.

No, he will get points for exactly what the reference letter says and only if such letters are provided as evidence. Although listing these experience in the form is required, it is not in itself sufficient for claiming points. And how exactly does one choose less than one year when the form doesn't have an option for that anymore? The old version of the form used to have that option. He can of course write a cover letter explaining the reason for choosing 1 year. Since this is a snafu in CIC's part, there is nothing to worry about.

And your solution to the problem is not to list the experience at all? As opposed to list it, choose whatever the option is available, and explain it in a cover letter?

This is my last retort to you.

The old version of the form used to have that option?? no old version has this option. this is not a snafu in CIC's part,1 to 6 years option is selfexplnatory

Please clarify:

1. The present job that I am doing comes under Skill level C. (Two positions 8 months & 7 months), reference letter is available.

Do you mean I do not want to show this in Schedule 3?

2. I have other one year experience (Skill level A) and six years years (Skill level B) with two employers and reference letters are available
3. Another 3.5 years in Skill level B and reference letter is not available.

In this do you mean I need to list only the above jobs in point 2 & 3?

Schedule 3 form lists only the following options:

1. 1 Year
2. 2 to 3 Years
3. 4 to 5 Years
4. 6 or More

My question is general, not specific in my case as my present job is in Skill level C. How to write jobs with less than one year experience?
