Thanks for sharing your experience. My father will have his ceremony on 18th Sep and so was curious to know - how about the national anthem singing in English and French. Is everyone expected to sing it loud and clear in both the languages?Hello everyone,
After giving some lovely opening remarks we had the Oath. Make sure you say it out clearly cuz we have to, otherwise they won’t call you to get you certificate
The anthem is written in both languages... he can sing along to the best of his ability. However, the Oath has to be repeated out loud like a wedding vows. Even though he didn’t have to produce any language proof, I assume that he has to verbally take the oath like everyone else.(yes, they check if everyone is saying it... I believe they strategically place regular looking people posing as guests to check if people are actually repeating it out loud)Thanks for sharing your experience.
