Hi, does anyone know how long it takes for CIC to reschedule someone for Oath ceremony?
I have to be out of the country for a while and I was wondering if I get invited for Oath and have to reschedule, it might take another 6 months to get another invite... any suggestions?

Typically 1-2 months, BUT it's unpredictable these days. I wouldn't count on it. Could very well take 6 months or more.

Yeah... I agree! A friend of mine, also an Oct. applicant, received his oath invitation last Friday. I understand it is getting frustrating but we all know that we all will get invited eventually, which is the positive side.

Did your friend get the oath invite at Mississauga or Scarborough?

Yes, they do ceremonies on Saturdays sometimes, its not unusual

Of course I know that, but something has been very slowed down seriously... don't know why.
Did they think Stouffville is too far away from Mississauga? Is that why my file is still sitting in Scarborough?
You know what, I can take 407 lol...

No one from my side, someone posted here yesterday that their friend received last Friday though. Read the comments above.

No oath invitations this week? Seems to be the longest break in sending out invitations within the past 2-3 months.

I am feeling grateful and I know the waiting is always frustrating..but we all know the oath invitation will come sooner or later.. just a matter of time. It may come in the next day, or even the next minute. Don't stress out and enjoy the summer

Congrats! That's great news. Did you by any chance mean that you received the oath invite today on 7/27 or you or received it on the 17th?
