saudi police clearance

hello everyone! am on the process of gathering documents for spousal application. I have worked in Saudi in 1999-2002. I tried contacting Saudi Embassy in Manila and told me to contact Phil. embassy in Saudi which I did. Phil. Embassy sent me the requirements needed but I have no more Iqama and they said I won't be able to get police clearance as per experience for those Filipinos who have no copies of previous Iqama used. They advised me to get the Certificate of No Derogatory record as a replacement for the police clearance. Will this be enough to replace the police clearance? What should I do. Please help!!!

There is no Police Clearance available for ex.saudi residents! Canadian High commission aware of that too.
This is what Saudi Arabian Embassy in Ottawa has to say about it..

Contact your employer and get a letter from them to affirm that you were a good standing employee and left the country with no criminal criminal records as per their knowledge.
It is understood that no one allowed to take an Iquama with them on final exit.!!

request a letter from your Employer in KSA! And send that with letter drafted by you, explaining your attempts to obtain the same. CIC is well aware that there is no police clearance available for former residents of KSA. I have done that and accepted!

Hi... i just wanted to ask if u managed to get the police clearance from saudi... I need some information regarding the process because we did not include it in our application and CEM might ask for it.

Hi Skylar! sorry for the late reply. Wasn't able to get Saudi Police clearance coz i don't have copy of my Iqama but I was able to get a certification from the Phil. Embassy saying that I don't have any derogatory record. I think CEM will not ask for it unless you worked there recently. They know Saudi Govt. doesn't issue police clearance for those who are not living in the kingdom anymore.

Hi! I am in Canada now. The Certificate of No derogatory Record which was issues to me last 2006 by the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh was sufficient replacement for the SA police clearance. The Manila Canadian Embassy did not ask for any other document.

Hello greentea...i am.also an ex-saudi and.planning to apply as an immigrant to canada.i would luke to know how did you get the Certificateof No deregatory Record?Can you.please tell me the step by step process? Thank you.

@ leaf..try to visit old DFA Office..then ask them about OUMWA office, bring with you copies like..final exit, passport showing entry and exits and even employment certificate..

Hello Physio.i am from the philippines.do you mean to say that i can get my certificate of no deregatory record here in the philippines..and not necessarily to get it from the phil.embassy in saudi?please clarify...thank you so much...

exactly @ leaf, youll get here in our country...only the OUMWA office will facilitate the processing with the help of riyadh consular office..sorry for the late reply

im under LC2... i put in my personal history my past works in saudi and kuwait... will canadian embassy requires me a police certificate?
