saudi iqama as national identity document

hello everyone!!! pls help.....saudi government issued us an iqama card(resident permit) and in the generic application form for canada they are asking about the national identity document, can i use my iqama(resident permit) as a national identity document? help pls asap tnx everyone :-\

National Identity document mean the identity of your nationality not the residence permit identity. So u have to enter your passport details.
Iqama issued in saudi arabia is only for foreigners who come saudi for job or family status. Its only valid within saudi arabia interior ministry.

hello mr masood can u give us advise where to send our application...... which is more better and more faster london or the the country of our citizenship(manila)? we are planning to send our application this week..... im from hofuf alhasa eastern province of saudi arabia.....can i ask also when did you apply if u dont mind coz i had read some of your post that you finished medical already thank you very much mr masood

Hi,
You can't select visa office by your choice it depend on the location and permanent address, Since you are residing in KSA so your VO would be LONDON automatically.
I applied for FSW in 2011 and AlhamduliAllah I got medical request in Oct 2013.
