i am a consultant general surgeon and just moved to saudi arabia in buraidah.. i am just about tostart the whole procedure and i personally think i awill be able to complete all my documents and application by december 10th... plesase guid eme whether it is useful to apply then and do all this hard work or this will be late??

The visa office responsible for FSW applications from Saudi Arabia is London UK. All new immigration applications must first be mailed to the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada who will then forward it to the relevant visa office.

any law firm will do your notarization works. look for signboards in your city that reads LAW FIRM and head for it. best of luck.

one clarification i need from saudi based applicants, can i submit my passport to VFS alkhobar, as in my PPR-2 letter they mentioned it to submit at RIYADH, VFS. anybody has this experience from AL KHOBOR? please share and advice. thank you.

yes for the same place i paid 1300, u can choose 1300 or 1600,its upto you, they did not take any 300 extra for courier from me, ask they, i dont think you need to pay it, it took for my med. to reach LVO 2 weeks. best of luck.

Yes, i visited them and asked again for the price and they tell 1300 for online report sending and 300 for courier if you want us to send via courier.

So, now I have made my booking with them in coming week.

Seeing your dates of medical and Passport request, i can expect the same in coming 3 months hopefully.

Do update me once you get the visa, about your experience that where you submitted the passport and to which office, and how much charges they took and the number of days it took to get your passport back along with the new visa.

After visa is stamped, how many days they will give you to travel? :O Do you have any idea about this?

1. There are many authorized translation offices on Sitteen Street (King Fahd St) near the Jeddah High Court.
2. After translation, you get it attested from the Chamber of Commerce.
3. You send the original translation with your application. Make sure that these should have the photocopies of the originals clipped with them.

It is e-medical-enabled. They take you 2 days for tests. As I remember, they work 3 days only for Canada immigration. Call them before you go. They usually upload MR results in a week time.

It's street address is if you are driving on Sari Street going towards Corniche until it hits the King Abdulaziz Road, turn right (you will find Steak House), turn right, then left, go straight, it will be on your left.

Yes, it is e-medical enabled. I did my medicals from there. Call the clinic secretary, Annaline at 0557472110 to book an appointment. She will give you all info. No need for any diet.

Procedure to obtain Police Clearance Certificate from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.


Documents Required:
• 3 Copies of Iqamah
• 3 Copies of Passport
• 3 Passport size photographs
• Original Passport
• Original Iqamah
• Print out of the email received from your VO asking you to submit Police Clearance Certificate from Saudi Arabia.

*You may or may not be asked to provide these documents at any time. It is advisable to keep these documents ready with you

Take the print out of your email from your VO to Canadian Embassy. Ask them for the request letter for Police Certificate. It is ready by the counter. You just need to fill in your name, nationality and passport number. It's already stamped and signed. The service is free of charge. Estimated time: 5 minutes.

STEP II

Working Hours in Ramadan: 9:30 am -3:30 pm

Take this letter to Ministry of Foreign Affairs for attestation. If they inquire about the service you need, reply with “TASDEEQ” . Fee is SAR 30 per letter. Keep the money handy along with your original iqamah and copies of passport and iqamah. You need to take a number and wait for your turn. This might take 1-3 hours depending on the number of people.

Perfomance tip: If you have a wife, take her along. Send her in with the letters. Women do not need to queue up. She will get it done in 3-5 minutes. Do not take your mobile phones into the ministry. Leave them in your car or else you might lose 5-10 minutes extra waiting for depositing your phone with the security people.

STEP III

Police Headquarters –Mekkah Province (مركز شرطة منطقة مكة المكرمة)

Working Hours in Ramadan: 9:30 am -3:30 pm

Take the attested request letter to the Police Headquarters. You can drive in and park inside the premises. Ask for the finger printing section (Qasm al Basmah). It is an orange(ish) colored building 100 meters straight up from the entry gate. You can park right next to the building.
Again you need to take a number and wait for your turn. Your wife can walk in without a number. It may take 1-3 hours of wait for you. Your wife will be done with all the process in 15-20 minutes. Keep copies as well the original Iqamah and passport handy.
After you are done with the finger printing process, you will receive a receipt with a date of collection of your Police Cert. This is usually 10-12 days later.
The service is free of charge.

STEP IV

Collect the police certificate on the date specified. Get it translated into english from a licensed translator.

You are done!!! Send it to your VO. Good luck!
