bro even if you send your iqama, you will have to get it translated into English,...what I did was.. I requested the translator to write the name as in the Passport and he did it for me, so no big issue. Likewise you can do in the PCC, good luck

hi.
my request to please guide me regarding a very strange querry.
as per my info after going through all the applications and required documents i think there is no need of sending iqama according to new appliation,, my problem is that they issued me an iqama which has a slighlty wrong name of me and also of my father,,, now things are working here in saudia... but do u think that at any stage this wrong spelled iqama can be a problem reagarding allll the process of appliation till visa issuance??
If your name in iqama is wrongly spelled in Arabic but correctly spelled in English, there is no need to worry. If your name is wrongly spelled in English, you can explain this to CIC with a cover letter. This should help to avoid any problems in your application processing.

When you apply for a Saudi PCC for the purpose of immigration, it is issued with your name as spelled in your passport, so no worries if spelling in iqama is incorrect.

If English spelling in iqama is incorrect, you should get it corrected through your employer whenever you get the chance.

Cheers,

Hi maazeeliansp,

Make sure you are going on the day when doctor is available in the clinic. The nurse told me this. So better reach at 5:00 PM at the clinic so that your tests (Xray and blood) are done before 8:00. Doctor is available after 8:00 PM only and on Thursday and Tuesday only Two days in a week only.

regards.

little correction...name written in iqama is always different from what is written in Passport, here in iqama they write it together with father's name. Therefore it seems immaterial to go for any sort of correction in spellings as far as it does not match with the one written in Passport. Important is that iqama when translated into English shall bear the same name / spellings as reflected in the Passport.

bro i guess they don't ask for original passport, you will have to carry your original iqama and PP copy on the day of test. You can always call them and confirm about it. No one can know better than you whether your employer will release your PP for the day of test or not. Good luck

hi friends,

I am of Indian nationality and working in Middle East.

as per CIC we can choose the Visa office of
a) as per nationality ----which gives an option of New Delhi Visa Office
b) as per current residence country-----which for middle East, gives an option of London Visa Office.

Please help me what to choose as a Visa Office.

if someone experienced and aware friends can share the merits / de-merits of both then it will be really helpful.

As an expat i spend most of the time Middle East and stay outside India.

for all saudi arabia based applicants, in "recent months" we all got instruction that we should submit out passports via VFS GLOBAL, as your instruction is to submit it directly, then you use fedex/dhl to send your pp's with a self addressed envelop that will be used to return your pp's. best of luck.

I have one question guys. Appreciate your help.

Is date of birth mentioned in the Saudi PCC?

I am asking because my date of birth in the Saudi Jawazat system (Iqama, driving license, etc) is showing as 01/01/1979 (They only entered the year correctly, day and month are incorrect). Should I correct it in the system first before I apply for Saudi PCC? or it is not mentioned in the PCC.

I know it is too early for me to think about PCC (as I am FSW2014 applicant) But I really appreciate your help. Thanks.
