Man don't worry. Police department has nothing to do with that. It is all with Labor Ministry and Jawazat who are concerned about that.albertoenriquezjr said:Thanks Destnation Canada and Dhaka 2014. I'm still reluctant to got to the police head Office as my profession in iQama si not matched with my actual profession here, everytime government is checking our workplace we are advised by our HR to go home because of this issue. Do you guys really think that this is still an issue with the Saudi Government? Please advise.
I can assure you that Police Department will never ask you what do you do exactly.
The office you will go is only making sure that you don't have a criminal record by matching your fingerprints with their database. They will not ask you anything. You just give them the letter from embassy, they will only ask you to put your fingerprints on the form (or on the machine) then give you a slip to come back on a certain date. No single discussion about anything else.
The guy only typed my name, nationality, Iqama number, Iqama issue date, Gender, Religion, the requested authority (Canadian Embassy), purpose (Immigration). (all in Arabic).
Trust me, there is nothing to be afraid of.
