Hello to everyone.

I am bit confused right now, I would like to know what would be my points from SINP-OID points grid for IELTS? my IELTS score is as follows:

Writing: 5
Speaking:6.5
Reading 6
Listening 6.5
----------------------
Overall: 6

so will I get 18 points for SINP-OID stream or I will get 14 points for CLB 5 only?

Thanks a lot in advance.
The points you will get will be based on CLB not the raw IELTS score. Hence, if your CLB is 5 then you will get the corresponding points for CLB 5 not the IELTS 6

I am planning to resubmit my application this coming EE intake under NOC 2133.
However, my license is still in-process by APEGS, and I will just submit to SINP a letter to show my application at APEGS.
Anyone here have applied or plan to apply without license yet?

You can apply without License too, they will mark your profile in Process until you provide them the License Certificate.

Someone posted the exact reply (if your search the forums) which he received from immigration officer on the same query like you..

Yep, Im aware of that.
I just want to know the specific details: should SINP just put the application in-process without reviewing all the other documents or they will review everything first and just wait for the license for the final decision/nomination?

The problem for us is that they just put the license requirement last July which majority of applicants did not prepare for the license beforehand.
It should have been a win-win scenario if SINP implemented this license requirement a year after they announced it and just waived the requirement for all applicants for now or at least accept the documentation that we have already applied for the license.
Thats my opinion from applicants point of view.

Im also thinking of applying under 2241, which is the non regulated couterpart of 2133, although my job experience may not perfectly match since 2241 is a tehnologist or technician job while 2133 is an engg job. Although a 2133 engineer can do the job of a 2241 technologist/technician but not vice versa.
Its like downgrading your level of responsibility.

Hello friends,
Need your feedback on one query. If I have previously applied for Mon project which is the Quebec immigration,do I need to mention that in SINP?
My understanding was that since Quebec doesn't fall under the regular federal or provincial nominee program it is ok if I don't mention it. Please let me know as I want proceed with SINP.
I am hoping that SINP will be open soon. Kindly share your advice.

Must mention it. They will catch you. Canada is a less populated country.
