As far as AOR, they are very helpful in Sao Paulo. You can just email them and they will let you know that the file has arrived.

PNP posts are rare here, but theres a whole section of the forum dedicated to this.

Boa sorte!

I did email Sao Paulo already; they confirmed my file has arrived and they gave me a temporary file number.

However, I have no idea how long should it take for AOR. Does someone has this information?

Some people receive after around 30 days; others (like you) receive after two and a half months…any idea why?

We never received an actual AOR, I consider the email to be the AOR, because in fact this is all you need for AOR. ccbrasil also has the same I believe.

Cheers!

I respectfully disagree with you; I do not consider this email an AOR. Here is what they reply to me:

“We have received your application, and its initial reference number is XXXXXXX. You will receive an e-mail acknowledging receipt of your application as soon as it is created into our system.”

So the acknowledging receipt that I am still waiting is the AOR.

Did you receive the same email that I did?

Ok, mine was different, it did not mention about an initial number or a further AOR from them.

"Dear Mr. xxxxxxx,

Yes, it has been received in São Paulo, and her file number is Fxxxxxxxxxx.

Sincerely / Atenciosamente"

So, in this case, you are right to wait for it.

Cheers!

Mine was the same as Leroadrunner, and I have not received an "official" AOR, nor do I think I will receive it. I think it's a little different for PNP, and perhaps that's why they will send you an AOR later.

Sorry we couldn't be of more help.

Good luck to you!

Thank you all, this is still useful information.

PNP is supposed to be a fast-track option, but it is taking so long already. I had to apply to the province first, so I started my process nine months ago.

I wrote a new topic for Brazilians PNP, but no reply until now. Thank you for letting me “invade” the family thread!

Good luck to all of you!

Any news?!

We've been in contact with the consulate, because they needed some additional documents, but no "news" in regards to the PR application itself yet...

We just keep waiting and hoping :)

Hi folks happy holidays and merry Christmas!
Thought I give you an update...
My lovely wife from Bahia saw her first snow here in BC! We arrived at home the 16th of Dec!
So my friends waiting for CIC Sao Paulo relax because your visa will be ready very soon I'm sure.
Our complete process from mailing the sponsor/applicant package to Mississauga to my wife(the applicant) receiving a phone call
from Sao Paulo to tell her it was ready took only four months. 4 months!
The online notification system worked great, it was updated at every move it seemed. From receiving my
docs in Mississauga to sponsorship granted, mailed to Sao Paulo... received in SP.... medicals received...
in process... decision made... to the very end showing visa granted to landed immigrant.
Something like that!

We passed through Toronto Int like the breeze.. thank you mam and welcome to Canada (with a smile!)

I'm still a little shocked how easy it was...

after working on the papers for a YEAR that was the hard part.

I feel for those in other countries waiting so much longer. Crazy world.

Hi shiftpro! Just want to let you know that we got close to your record! Not boasting, just being very happy! My wife got her PPR in 4.5 months and that includes 70 days for sponsorship approval!

I owe so much to this community, theres a guy @iarblue who really helped me, but unfortunately he is no longer online here! But thank you to all that helped: @ccbrasil, @cdagal, @pauline_regina and many more that I forget, I think that our package was that much better because of you all!

This is not an au revoir..I will be here and always ready to help, specially with Brasil applications!

Merci! Thank you! Obrigado!

Hello fellow Sao Paulo Applicants!

I hope you are all doing well... does anyone have any news?

Unfortunately I got nothing on my end, but keeping faith that I will hear soon.

Stay in touch!

Same happen to us ccbrasil.

Hello Gang!

My husband finally received his PPR today! The letter was sent to us by mail, and it was issued on February 15.

Now we need to figure out the rest, but we are just sooooo excited!

Thank you all for your kind words and support, and I wish you all best of luck with your processes.
