The longest part is when the application is just received, it can take a couple months, but the actual processing of the application is fast.
Hoping for you to get it soon!

my process took 9 months in total... i was in the so called 'in process' for 5 months, even though the assessment of the sponsor took only 30 days. so it varies a lot from case to case. it will come sooner or later. its gonna test your patience thats for sure, but lately I've seen ppl that applied and didn't take long at all .. so ill keep my fingers crossed for you!

good luck!

if anyone would like to get in touch with me you can send me a personal message here and id be more than happy to help if i can based on my own experience.

I did my landing today at the cornwall boarder. there was no one there and it took me no longer than 30 minutes. the officer was super nice, asked me if i understood the obligations of being a resident, and tcharã.

best of luck to you all!
keep strong!

Thank you LaFleur and luk! That's very kind of you.

I'm really happy that both of you can finally be with your loved ones (if you were together throughout the process, I'm jealous! ;D), have a good life in Canada and remember to recycle!

Hello people!

I've been away for a bit.
What is going on so I can update the Spreadsheet. By the way, would anyone like to sponsor it?

Cheers!

So my ecas status just changed to Decision Made. It's weird because I checked on Friday after hours and it hadn't changed yet. So I guess they even update it on the weekend. Does that mean they're mailing my passport back like TOMORROW?

Hello guys, i hope you all are doing great.

My wife has one doubt regarding pr papers. So she got all the originals documents and translated into English and got attested by certified translator but does she needs to attest the originals documents too?

Thanks

Except for the Medical Exam and the Criminal Record Check (3 in total), we sent photocopies. Whatever was written in Portuguese, we translated it to French by an Official Translater and he confirmed he did the translation with the Original one.

Is there any Brazilian Portuguese authorized translator in Calgary?
