any news anyone?

Still nothing. For me in e-Cas it still says "Decision Made", and "Application Received" for my wife's PR application.
And in November they requested more docs which we sent, but they never answered anything saying they got it right or if it was sufficient. They are leaving us in the dark.

It is very hard to wait, but we can pull through all of this.

Hey people!

I think the consulate decided go back to work!

Today I received a email asking for my passport.

I hope all of us will receive good news soon.

Regards

Did your e-cas say "In Process" too? Mine changed to In Process on Jan 15th. And, if so, how long did it take from "In Process" to when they asked for your passport?

Hello,
My husbands application changed to "In Process" on Jan 16th. The file transfer was made Dec 3. I'm hoping this is good news and that we will be asked for his passport soon enough!
Hoping its moving along quickly for everyone else too, fingers crossed! :)

You have to re enter Canada, drive down to the States for a day or something then go through Immigration at the border :)

Got our passport request today!
(How do I put the info under my avatar like other people?)

Congratulations LaFleur! :D
To update your information go to "Profile" then click "forum profile info" on the left hand side.

So in regards to the landing if my husband is already here in Canada with me, as a Brazilian he needs a tourist visa to enter the USA. He currently doesn't have one. Are will still allowed to drive to the border to do this without a tourist visa?

Thanks

Finally I got my passport with the visa on it!

After 9 months including the strike.
After the consulate asking me for FBI certificate, even though I have never lived there for more than 6 months.
After more than 80 days after the Passport Request.

I have it all now and going to be with my husband on Tuesday!!!

Hi everybody!

Please guys, can u guys explain to me about the Certificado de Cíveis e Criminais: Is it a certificate issued by the Federal Justice in each state? The link in the CIC site is not working...
For exemple, if i am from SP should I get this certificate in this link http://www.jfsp.jus.br/ ?
I really need to know if this is the correct one before submiting...

Obrigada! ;)

You can only do that after becoming a "Member" but you're still a "Newbie". I think you need ten posts to become a member.
