Sao Paulo Applications 2012/13

Just got approved as a sponsor!! Now the application is being sent to Sao Paulo, I hope we're as lucky as some of the other people have been lately...getting PR within 2-3 months. Fingers crossed! Good luck to everyone else out there!

They asked my passport in October and nothing so far.
It makes me and my husband very stressed and sad.

Now, unfortunetaly, we are away from each other. Hopefully not for a long time.

I´m in the same situation than Luk!

My status in E-CAS changed for "in process" in September, but I didn´t receive any news since then.

I really don´t know what to do. I´m really desperate.

Anyone have any news about the process in SP?

Hello guys, same thing with me too. I'm in process for a while and they even asked my passport.
It hurts being away from the one you love.

I wish I could receive this visa as a Christmas gift.

I think they will close for two weeks, coming back January 6th. I believe that during vacation's time, they work more on temporary residents visa.

Hey guys, me and my wife are using the Sao Paulo visa office... we are a little concerned about our application, here are some details:

Application Filed: September 26th, 2013
AOR Received: October 9th, 2013
File Transfer: October 15th, 2013

We both received an email on November 7th, 2013 from the VO in SP asking for additional documentation, I sent both scanned copies replying to the e-mail they sent, and we also sent the originals in the mail to them, the tracking says it arrived there.

The problem is that when I check e-CAS, it still says "Application Received", and this has not moved since it was transferred to Sao Paulo. I sent an e-mail asking if everything was ok as they did not say anything after that, that was December 13th. We are both worried about this situation if it is sufficient and why isn't it "In Process". Did this happen to anyone else? They haven't responded to anything.

We submitted the application 2 weeks ago! I'm still not sure of when they'll update us, do they send an email when they receive it?
Anyway, I'm not too worried about it, just hoping we're half as lucky as some other members on this thread!
Also, is it really hard to get a TRV visa while waiting for the PR? We have a wedding to attend in August! :-[

They say e-CAS isn't very reliable sometimes and they don't update all their steps, good luck anyway!

I was approved as a Sponsor Dec 3rd and haven't heard anything else after that!
Good news is that my husbands visa extension was granted until Dec 2014 so we can stay together in Canada while waiting

Will the information such as "in process" or "decision made" for the principal applicant be available on the Sponsors account (for example when I login to check application status it says sponsorship application - decision made, then beside it, it says permanent resident application status-application received)
Will that information update on my account, or will my husband receive his own UCI and it will only be available to him?

Ir´s weird, because it´s like if the CIC stopped to analyse process.

I´m still waiting...waiting... and waiting....

Here too ive been "in process" for a bit over 3 months now. And ppl said that was the step near the end. They clearly stopped working. Never answer the phone aswell. So we r left in the dark.

This is really stressful.
Thats all i can say.

Probably they were working on temporary visas for people going on vacations. Soon, I believe they'll go back to our papers.

What it's sad for me it's that I had my passport requested in october, so I thought it was close. Then, my husband I decided to come to Brazil to see my family and spend New Year's.
And I was allowed to stay there till March 2014 with chances of renewing it.

Now he's gone and I'm here praying that I can be with him sooner than ever.

Both will be update. Yours and his once it's changed.
You can enter with the application number and the sponsored person's informations and will see it.
