i just wish there was a way for us to know whats going on, since i havent really heard anything from the consulate, and my applications is been in process since august 10th.

i sent my csq copy by e-mail, never heard back from them either, tried calling just to confirm if they got it, absolutely no answer..

i guess all its left is for me to do is to wait patiently.

Im sure thats really stressful!

but unfortunately theres no way we can know, just by looking at the timelines we can see that for some they kept the passport for less than a month for other for over two months, even for some they asked for the passport before the `in process`. In my case I've been in process for 40 days and so far... nothing, so they clearly dont have and specific direction.

they havent asked my passport yet, but im kinda in the same situation, i also have an important trip in 4 weeks, and not sure that, if they do ask me for my passport in the mean time, ill send it.

what is really stressing is the fact that they do not answer phone calls or e-mails.

ITS REALLY SAD THAT WE ARE LEFT IN THE DARK!

Btw, does anyone know when do the visa offices close for the holidays? and when they reopen?

OMG my husband and I just received an email requesting his passport to put the PR visa in!!!

I'm so happy ;D

A little funny thing- we were planning to visit Canada in January while waiting for his PR so he applied for a tourist visa lol. So we don't have his passport lol. But we will figure it out- just a small kind of funny thing.

When applying outland, does Mississauga e-mail or mail you a letter for AOR? It's been two weeks and I haven't received anything yet.

Usually for the first stage, they notice you when (mine took 3 weeks), then after 1 week I think, we got Sponsor Approval.

My husband received his passport today

I have to say I was expecting more than just a page in his passport and some papers for all the hard work we did... Haha, but whatever! I am so happy and relieved, and glad that our process was really quick..

Just got approved as a sponsor!! Now the application is being sent to Sao Paulo, I hope we're as lucky as some of the other people have been lately...getting PR within 2-3 months. Fingers crossed! Good luck to everyone else out there!
