Wow! That is super fast! Congrats!
My husband and I are currently in Canada, this time next week our application should be sent out in the mail and the stress of it all will be out of our hands! We are applying outland through Sao Paulo.

Morrigan, do you have any advice as to how you put your application together in order for them to process it so quickly?!
My husband and I got married this summer, we did his medical this summer in Canada, we obtained our police certificates from Brazil & China (we lived there for one year) they are all translated into English and still valid until Dec. We have our marriage certificate plus 4 years worth of photos and relationship history. I don't think there's really anything else I'm missing?!
We are also applying to extend his stay as a visitor here in Canada once we send in our PR application.

Also, how can I get added to the excel spreadsheets?
Thanks!

I guess I was just extremely lucky that the strike was over right after I sent the application.

Braziliangirl, my husband did his meds on Thursday=) October 31st...

Also, a big congrats to you! It looks like you are now reunited in Canada!! So exciting.

And a big congrats to Morrigan!! Seems your application was processed really fast! It's only been 2 months since you've applied?! ;D

Morrigan (or whoever else might be able to help with this)

We just received an email from CIC stating that my husband needs to answer IMM 569 question 8- the question about background information/personal history.

He did answer that question- and he actually wrote an essay explaining what he has been doing since he was 18 (he is 24 now). The email says that it must account for the last 10 years (so since he was 14) with no gaps (which is different than what it says on the application- it says the past 10 years or since 18 whichever is most recent). I'm really happy they didn't send us back our entire application, but am a little confused now.

How did your spouse format the answer for this question? I am thinking now, maybe he should make a very clear timeline. Do you think he should explain for the past 10 years?! Or explain again since he was 18.

Anyone with any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!

Yeah, that is odd that they would request the past 10 years, it seems like you filled out the application correctly, but if they are asking for it I would just give them his personal history since he was 14
My husband made a new table (like the one on the application) on a word document and put what he was doing for 10 years, with no gaps (even if he was on vacation, unemployed, new job, etc)

Also, we just sent our outland PR yesterday! So relieved we finally finished it, now the wait begins, and I'm hoping everything was done correctly!
Is there a spreadsheet that I can be added to?

We got all of my husbands police certs translated. They have to be translated or else they won't be accepted. Are you currently in Canada? Someone on this forum gave me a great translator. His name is Edward and he lives in Alberta, works as a translator and I think at a University. His services are very efficient and professional, and greatly priced! I can inbox you his e-mail.

Hi 091212, Can you provide the information of this translator. I am in the process of applying for my wife.

thanks a ton!!
