If your salary is written in your job responsibilities or experience letter (on official letterhead) then you don't need any other proof unless asked by the CIC. Otherwise, I will suggest getting pay slips or any other kind of Salary record from your employer.

I hope this will help.

Hi,
is it ok to get salary slips from employer, signed and stamped by employer and it mention mode of payment cash. would cic accept it,any idea please share.

No need for all of that if your employer just adds what your salary was in the reference letter. Salary slips are only required in case your employer won't give you a letter and you want to prove you were working there or in case the company no longer exists.

i have photocopy of the pages where my salary is written along with other employees. i can get it signed and official stamp by the employer. Would it help??

Yes but why would you do that if your employer has no problem writing you a reference letter mentioning your salary. You're addind more hassle to yourself than needed

@hamgha @BillHyatt @ppr20 Please help guys:

I got ITA recently and my question is about my wife's (who is secondary applicant) work experience. My wife worked in a company where she got her salary in cash and no tax was filed. The salary was not large enough to fall into any tax bracket. I have shown her experience in the Express Entry profile even though it did not add to any additional points. Now Post ITA, I need to submit her employment records (Reference Letter + Salary slips). We have got Reference letter with all details along with monthly salary mentioned in it, but we do not have salary slips or any other document to prove her employment. The company is a registered company.
My question is will cic officials need any other documents or ask for tax filing (which was not done) Or since she is secondary applicant and doesn't add to CIC score, so it will do. I am thinking of 2 options here:
Option 1: Decline ITA and create another EE Profile.
Option 2: Go ahead with the same details and provide reference letter from employer.

Just to point out here the company is genuine along with work experience. It's just that how things work in India sometimes may be a hurdle. Many Thanks guys for your help so far!!

Yes, you can send them and explain in Letter of Explanation. An alternative option is to get a Salary and Income Tax Deduction Certificate on Letterhead of Company signed by Accountant and with Company Stamp. It can include Month, Gross Salary, IT Deductions, and Net Salary.

Both will and have worked, so you will be fine.

Good Luck!

One of the options is to get a Salary and Income Tax Deduction Certificate on Letterhead of Company signed by Accountant and with Company Stamp. It can include Month, Gross Salary, IT Deductions, and Net Salary. Otherwise, you can proceed with Job Experience Letters which shall clearly state the Salary per annum.

I hope this will help. Good Luck!

Either move it to personal experience since she is secondary and doesn't count or get a letter. In all cases it won't affect the number of points you received.

I had a similar issue. For my first job i was paid in cash. So i showed the paylsips for certain months duly stamped and signed.

Furthermore, both my offer letter and experience letters mentioned my total salary amount and that it will be paid in cash.

Please I need advice regarding my ADR. I was requested to submit bank statement showing salary but my salary was paid in cash. How can I tackle this issue and is there anyone who has received PPR by submitting a LOE instead?
