guys, for student visa ni. do you need to present any current work records to the visa officer?
do you have to show a payslip or what?

I think it is much better if you show you already have work experience here, especially if it is related to your course.
Having previous work experience here kasi will show that you are "employable" when you get back to the Philippines.
I think kung hindi naman masyadong hassle, mas mabuti na i-document mo din - Certificate of Employment, payslips, ITR.
I would only advise not submitting if you have worked for only a short time (ex 3 months work lang) or hindi siya related to your course.

I received an email stating that my application has been updated, the email was dated 15May 7pm, but when I checked mycic wala man update or message. maybe tech glitch lang pud ni noh? nakulbaan bya kog taman. hehe. abi nako mao na to

yes. i am working in a different field right now to earn extra income din para magamit ko rin dito. . my parents and my brother will be supporting me financially.
hopefully things will run smoothly. i have a year of preparation.

ok ra man na guys d bah. na sa imo SOP d na lang ibutang ang current work experience. i am actually 21 so probably naay exemptions na d apil.
honestly plano nako sulod call center para dako ko ma.save for myself when i get there.. at least i can help my parents too.

Actually, you don't have to submit the originals, especially katong mga documents na importante kay they might not be returned. I just submitted certified true copies lang. Ang land titles sa ako parents gani, photocopy ra.

Here's the full list of what I submitted via paper:

CIC Forms
IMM1924 - Application for Study Permit - downloaded form, filled it out, then validated it. Once validated, it will generate a barcode page. Print all 5 pages then put the barcode page at the top of your application.
IMM5257 - Application for Temporary Resident Visa - downloaded form, filled it out, validated it before printing
IMM5483 - Document Checklist for a Study Permit - downloaded form, printed. Checked off the boxes using pen.
IMM5645 - Family Information - downloaded form, filled it out, printed.
Manager's check for visa application fee - PhP 5,760 for VFS application (official amount is CAD150)

Personal Documents
Current, valid passport - Validity must cover the length of your program
Photocopy of old passport with foreign visa, stamps from travel to other countries
2 pcs ID picture based on specifications from the Canadian Embassy (download photo specs from CIC website)
Birth certificate - original copy
NBI Clearance - must be taken at the longest 3 months before your application date. If you have an NBI Clearance dated more than 4 months before your application date, they will not accept it. Purpose must state "VISA CANADA"
High School Diploma - certified true copy
High School Transcript of Records - certified true copy
College Diploma - certified true copy
College Transcript of Records - original copy (kay I have many copies man, but you can opt to have it certified)
Certificate of Graduation from University - certified true copy
IELTS Result - certified true copy
Certificates of employment from all the companies I worked for - one company closed down so I couldn't get a CoE, I just submitted samples of my published work
Six months payslip from current company
Employment contract from current company
2014 ITR from current company
Short resume

Academic Documents / Financial Support
Letter of Acceptance from Centennial College
Official Receipt of Tuition Payment from School
Correspondence from School Representative (optional only)
Letter and affidavit of support from parents - notarized
Summary of Bank accounts and investments - Excel sheet, printed out

6 months bank statement per account

not required man to submit the contract, ako lang to gi-apil. Certificate of employment and payslips should be okay.

I'm concerned lang of the gap between your med tech employment and the time you filed your application kay it'll be one year. How will you explain what you did during that time?
On the other hand, okay ra man siguro to show nga ga call center ka as long as related imo course sa med tech and you explain yourself well in your SOP

yup, nag.ask kog mga schools. probably sa Ontario ko.
nahan ta ko NAIT kay naa ko relatives there peo ang school strict kaayo
ang ako plan is mag.medtech jud ko ngadto kay gnhan man ko sa trabaho nako gud.
peo sure denied nako if medtech ako ipakita sa VO. so nisugot man sad ang school na 2 programs ako applyan. and then if qualified ko sa both then they will give me LOA.. peo ang NON.MEDTECH PROGRAM lang ako ipakita sa VO. nag.research pa ko ug taman para sureballs bah.

it is not purely non medtech course, akong 2 programs na gpili is bioscience technology or health information management which is ang pinaka.related sa ako course.( kung naa ka i.kasuggest feel free lang ) d pd ko pwede mag.masteral because of my age. i checked it and nagpa.assess sad ko, around 26 ang age para ma.qualify ka for that. sad to say.
ako man gud g.weigh, naa jud probability na ma.deny ko if medtech program kay it is similar in nature.
ang highest attaintment for a medical technologist there is only a medical techncian... i really don't know maybe because of our curriculum.
so fortunately ni.sugot man sad ako parents to this kay at the end of the dday, mo larga ghapon ta.

ang medical technology course dre sa Philippines is based sa old system sa US, which is not similar sa Canada.
