I have to re-schedule my medical exam. Out of town akong cardiologist ug ang doctor nga nagtreat sa ako CAP. Sa Friday ug Monday pa mo resume ilang clinics. ???

I haven't taken my medical exam yet. My schedule is on Wednesday next week which was supposed to be this Friday unta pero nagpa re-schedule ko.

Wala man nang pahubuon ka -- it's just a series of tests plus an interview with the doctor

Strikta kaau sa fone ganina pag first tawag nako, nag ask ko sa mga requirements regarding medical records, paspas kaayo, nag o-o na lang ko. Nya kay wala man ang cardiologist nako, mao to nga nitawag ko nga magpa re-sched, nya nag ask ko balik sa mga requirements for medical records, giingnan man kog "aw abi nako nakuha na nimo kay nag o-o ra man ka ganina." Nya mao to kalit lang sya ingon "so ok na?" Wa pa gani ko mahuman, mao to ni ok na lang ko daun.

I remembered my 3.3 hectare Agricultural Land na wala nagamit for a very long time kay naay dispute sa NCIP 10 years ago. Completo sya ug papers ug naa nay title but gi-contest ang mga IPs nga ila daw. Nag-file mi ug complain sa Land Management Bureau, but pending sya after naay order nga i-hold kay naigo sya sa CARP (Agrarian Reform).

Now, ang pangutana is, pwed ba nako ni isulti sa VO, that I have pending land disputes to attend to?

Hi Venice! I think you might consider including it sa imo SOP. Kay akoa gani, naa ko bag-o nga napalit nga 1,500 lang nga land, wala pay title kay mao pay pag process pero naa nay Certificate Authorizing Registration, akong giapil ug submit. Hehe!

Floje, mao nangutana ko kay disputed man gud nga yuta..and basin maghatag ug wrong impression ba. Mahimong rason para ma-deny ko...but, really, I was thinking that this would make my case stronger. I just dont know if VO would think the same way too.

I don't really know for sure jud kung unsay tan-aw sa VO ana. Paabot na lang ta sa uban kung unsay ilang ikasulti.

I don't think you should include that in your application, Venice. Murag wala naman guy connection sa imo studies ug employment prospects pag balik nimo diri. Kung ako ang pangutan-on, TMI na na hahah. Keber sa VO sa imo land disputes , to speak frankly. Of course you can include it in a general section that you are the one administering your properties for your family etc. and that you have to come back to sort them out pero not to that much detail?

I think okay naman imo reasons like you stated before. Mas maayo if you talk about your degree in Canada and what you plan to do with it when you come back

Thanks Floje and Scorpio, lahi lahi gyud diay ang reactions sa VO. Others viewed it as TMI but others could view it as well na just an excuse without evidence. My intention for disclosing much information is to show them that I have several reasons na mouli gyud. If I am the VO, what sets man my application apart sa other students who also demonstrated their strong ties in their country but wala ghapon nanguli sa pilipinas? If makakuha ko ug much greener opportunities sa Canada, why would I pursue my business here when I could earn triple or more sa Canada labi na nga I have more advantage of pursuing a career kay naa koy formal education sa Canada compared sa mga temporary workers or those who applied pnp nga ayha pa mag start didto?

If other program observes certain CAP number, how sure are we that the number of student permit approval will not be regulated? Given sa unpredictability sa VOs approval (e.g., conflicting decisions for applicant with NBI and those without NBI), I viewed our applications as a competition nga ga require ug outstanding info over other applicants.

Just thinking ug lalum panigurado sa approval hahaha

See, the VO understands that most of those who get study permits have dual intentions (to study and find a way to stay in Canada after studies). It's not a secret to them, and it is allowed:

An intention by a foreign national to become a permanent resident does not preclude them from becoming a temporary resident if the officer is satisfied that they will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for their stay

Ang importante lang nga imo i-prove nga willing ka mubalik if in case muexpire na imo TRV ug dili ka mag-overstay.

From what I understand, the student visa is not a competition -- so you don't have to measure yourself against other students. Dili man ni cap program oi. In fact the more students who come, the more advantageous it is for them kay mas dako ug income sa ilaha.

By all means include it in your application / SOP. But I don't think it is necessary.
