Hello,

Did anyone apply or does anyone want to apply to Ryerson?
Please share your experiences.
Is it a good university? do they provide funding for internationals?

Its a competitive university with limited seats for some of the programs. Moreover the fees are high compared to other high ranking universities. I was rejected for fall 2017 for MEng Mechanical.

For course work based programs (MEng), almost no universities give scholarships. Scholarships are mostly given to research based master's students (M.A.Sc.)

As for university, Ryerson is not one the best but it's the worst either. The only plus point about it is it's location in downtown Toronto. which also means it's more expensive when you consider living expenses.

I applied in Ryerson for Computer Science in Nov 2016. No response yet

However, I got accepted in Concordia.

Which one is better?

I have applied to Meng in Ryerson as well.
But no response as of now.
I have contacted the concerned department and I got a reply that they can not provide a particular time frame but all the decisions will be made by May end.

I think overall as a university specially the department of computer science, Concordia is better but my opinion may be biased since I go there :P

Ryerson still does have a location advantage especially if you're french-phobic

True!

I m confused between these 2 if I get acceptance from Ryerson.

Are you studying at Concordia?

Thank you guys for your insights.

I'd better not imply there then.
Funding is very important for me
