Hi All......I was asked to pay my Right of Permanent Resident Fee, and my husband paid $475 instead of $490..Please can and any one advice me on what we do, if to pay the balance $15 or make a full payment of $475?..I await your urgent response

I would say make a full payment of the right amount and wait because CIC will refund you the wrong payment.

But my husband called to inform me that he made the payment of $15 instead of paying another $490..

The RPRF is in addition to the $475 (principal applicant) and $75 fees paid at the beginning. The total cost is $1040, and the $490 RPRF *must* be paid before you can land as a permanent resident.

Thanks for your advise, but my husband has already paid all the the other fees and we were asked to pay the RPRF of $490 and he only paid $475..which he also paid an additional $15
My questions are (1)can we mail out both receipt or(2) we can send scanned copy to the embassy. .(3). do we have to pay another $490..
Please we need urgent reply as my visa has already been approved and they have given us our window already.

I don't see why it would matter if you paid in two installments like that. Bottom line is you paid the full fee. Just include both receipts with your information and maybe write a note explaining the two receipts. You also may want to call CIC call center and ask them if it will make you feel better and give you peace of mind.

Hi please i need urgent advice if I should email my payment receipt of send it to the visa office in Ghana through courier, cos its been 3 weeks since they requested for the payments though the visa is ready and i already have my valid date. ....Please i need urgent advice

You have a valid date for what, exactly? If you have not sent in proof of your payment to your VO you should do so ASAP as they will not get this information anytime soon if your husband paid it online in Canada.

Thanks Allura71....The date that my Permanent resident visa will expire..My husband paid the fee in the bank and not online, but he paid $475 instead of $490.I only just mailed out both receipt today

Sorry for the delay on the reply. Sounds like you mailed it out. If you have a scanned copy you can always send that as well just to be on the safe side but wither way you should be ok. if not you can always call the CIC and ask them.

Does anyone know how long it takes to send passports back for Ghana?.....Urgent reply pls
