Hopefully everything will go smoothly with your application, but I wouldn't pay for RPRF upfront just in case.

You are not required to pay the RPRF in advance. CIC will request you to pay the fee when required. Dont stress out on this point...

@yahoo7 I hear ya! The reason why I repeatedly ask is because it's still not too late for me . My buddy is going to mail my applications only tomorrow. So if someone's gonna say that's what they did and it helped them. Then I'm up for it .. you know what i mean?

No point in paying it in advance Vijayarr. Every thing is online...as soon as CIC asks you to pay, you can pay it immediately.
Normally this request comes once you clear medicals...but there are instances where they asked to pay RPRF while medicals in progress or along with Medical request.

@pjCanada You said it!! Great. I was looking into threads where people were like if we pay later it will delay the whole process by 2 months and I was like "Holy cow!"

This fee is payable by principal applicants and accompanying spouses and common-law partners. It must be paid before the immigrant visa is issued overseas or before the applicant becomes a permanent resident in Canada.

theres no valid proof of possible delay caused by the non-upfront paid RPRF...though you can indeed pay now but I just dont see how it can be a speed up factor.

Just relax, and follow instructions given by CIC.
