Hi experts,

I have applied for sponsorship application for my child(infant) and got approved in a month and sent to regional visa office.
My questions are:
Do I need to pay RPRF now ?
Where will I submit passport of my child as she is already here in Canada on TRV ?

Thank you.

Are you sure you got approved? You should have had a request to pay the RPRF first.

I got an email with attachement:
"Dear Sir/Madam,

This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted on behalf of Abcd and family (if applicable).
You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent
Residence for your relative has been forwarded to the visa office in Singapore for further processing..."

What does it mean?

there are 2 parts of this process. This letter means step 1 is completed: you have been approved to sponsor your family member.

Now is step 2: your daughter's application has been sent to the visa office for processing. this doesn't mean it will process immediately. it will sit in queue until it is picked up for processing at your visa office. i am not sure if dependant only applications get processed quicker, so you will want to check out the thread specific to your visa office to find out how long of a wait people are currently seeing.
Once the visa officer reviews the application and approves it, they will send a request for RPRF payment and instructions about how to send the passport for processing. If they know she is currently in Canada, they will more than likely send an option for getting it processed at a a local office in canada (usually Ottawa). This is not always guaranteed though. DO NOT send the passport to CIC unless it is specifically requested. If you want to pay the fee now, you can do that and send the receipt to the visa office. There may be instructions about how to contact them in your sponsor approval letter. If there are no instructions, then just wait until it is asked for. they can not finalize the visa until this fee is paid, so they will request it later.

Right now, there is nothing more for you to do. You will need to wait until CIC contacts you about the next step.

Thanks CDNPR2014. They have mentioned about RPRF in the email that confuses me
"Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)
If the Right of Permanent Residence Fee is applicable to your application and you have chosen to defer
payment of that fee, you will be contacted to make the payment at a later date. A Permanent Resident
Visa cannot be issued to your relative(s) until this payment is submitted."

Regarding processing of application will it be faster as my child is an infant, so no background security check...
Also my child is with me on multi-entry TRV, so do i need to exit in 6 months , or I wait until I get PR for her. ??

that is standard language in the sponsor approval letter. notice the first word... IF. so IF you want to pay it now, follow the directions in the letter. However, i would confirm whether that fee needs to be paid for an infant. for some reason i don't think it applies to children. i could be wrong, but i would recommend finding out.

You don't need to exit canada. you can apply to extend her stay online or by paper application and request 12+ months. It is recommended to submit the application at least 30 days prior to when the visa expires. Once the application is submitted, she will have "implied status" until a decision is made on the extension. Most PR applicants are successful getting long term extensions.

As far as I know you will not be required to pay rprf for your dependant child.

4. Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)
Getting your permanent resident status – Fees
Application $CAN
Getting your permanent resident status 490
Principal applicants (with some exceptions) and spouses and common-law partners coming with them to Canada must pay this fee. Applicants must pay this fee before CIC issues the permanent resident visa or before the applicant becomes a permanent resident in Canada.

These people do not have to pay this fee:

dependent children of a principal applicant or sponsor, a child to be adopted, or an orphaned brother, sister, niece, nephew or grandchild; and
protected persons, including Convention refugees.
