Hi Everyone!

I am an italian citizen and have applied for Permanent Residency from outside Canada on November 2014. My timeline is:

Category........................: FSWP
Visa Office......................: Rome
Application Received (CIO).: 7 Nov 2014
CC charge.......................: 13 Jan 2015
Positive Elegibility Rev........: 4 Feb 2015

Nevertheless, my status on CAS is still "in process" with only line 1 complete, and have not received any comunications by Rome yet.
Is this normal? Does anyone have idea about how long it is gonna take to get AOR or the med's request?

There is no second line update on ECAS; Also, no AOR received.

Please update for any progress on your application. I need to find out more regarding the timelines needed for Rome VO to process the applications.

are you a Federal Skilled Worker applicant as well? I have opened a new post in the "Skilled Worker/Professional Immigration" section. Title is "fswp-2014 rome visa office let's network here" (13 Apr 2015) if you want to share your timiline.

I realized only later here I was in the Family Class sponsorship.... :-[

New processing times for Rome VO read 42 months (!!!!!) It seems to me impossible!

I'll let you know about any progress, please do the same

so I sponsored my husband on dec 1, they received our application and his medical
the SA took longer than expected but we received a letter and approved on march 3, 2016, our application has now been sent to ROME VO!! And im hearing people are getting their visas in 5-8 months! so so excitedd!!

Hey guys hows the processing time now in Rome for spousal sponsorship? The documents were received March 16th in Mississauga. then they will be sent out to Rome.

hmmm that is very strange. With so few applications they definitely should have done that by now.

We went to see a Dr. in Milan and we got a receipt with a eMedical file number but I am also concerned things haven't been done properly.

I only received AOR yesterday (because they made an error on my file) and can't log into eCAS yet or anything.

I would certainly ask for confirmation of receipt in Rome. Does your eCAS say In Process?

I'll be going to the doctor in Milan too next week. James Abbot right? There is only one doctor in Northern Italy we can see. 320 euros they said. They also told us to bring 4 photos which means that they shouldn't have e medical but are using the paper method. I should be able to send my application in this month. What's an eCAS?

I think the average for Rome is one year to do the whole process.
