I really hope so...do you know if there is somebody on this forum who applied during the summer time like me?

Oh well..our case is very straight forward I guess...and I am really surprised to see that you and other people are almost done with the process!
Honestly today, while I was reading this forum, I was very happy!

No,i haven't seen anyone who has joined the forum that has applied during the summer i m very happy that i have been part of this forum cs seeing the case of other people has given me hope...it great discussing with people that have similar cases like you & and we have shared our experiences all this time. I have sent the pass &i m waiting them to return my pass with visa issued. I cant wait!!! Also i cant believe that i am almost done

where are you going to settle in Canada? I'm also waiting for the company I work for..there could be the chance i can get a transfer even before...I was wondering if a working visa can be a problem while I'm in process with under the family class...as I understood there are 2 separeted things, cause the working visa is not really a permanent residence request... :

Anyway congrats for you preogress with your application! I cant wait neither ...

Thnx I m going to live in Toronto...Where does your wife live? .If you applied inland or outland, you are free to persue any other work permit on your own, separate from the PR app.This should not affect your PR application. But,if the work permit expire you before you are approved for PR then you need to come back and wait in your hometown. I m so happy that we have a new member here in Rome thread bc i had a feeling that i was left alone .Most of the applicants left after finalizing the app ???

Buongiorno! My wife lives right in Toronto as well...luckily I work for an airline so we see each other at least every 2-3 weeks..I'm going there for a week next sunday!

I just checked my status online and it seems they updated it saying the medical results has been received!!! Yayyyyy!!! Hope it's a good start!

Yep its a good start Congratulations...ECAS will show app received&medicals results received till you will see in process. now you have to wait a little bit...be prepared to wait 2-3 months till a new update. My status changed In Process after 2 months and half. Have you seen Rome spreadsheet? Just to have an idea about processing time.

Yeah I did and I really didn't expect it was that fast.. I really hope it's gonna be the same for me! I thought it was even more than 13 months...

before to see in process, should I see also documents transferred to Rome or something like that...?

Unfortunately you cant see documents transfer i wish i could at the time bcs i was worried but when you receive SA it means that documents now are transferred...and then you have to wait to see ECAS update IP. Lets hope they will not request you additional documents They requested to me again some certificates (the original one), bcs i have sent notarize copies.But no delays, after one week then i received PPR.

I saw they asked already for ur passport...so u should almost done with all the process!!! I think the process time for Albanian and Italian citizens should be the same since it's under the visa office from Rome..cause as I remember for Albanian there was some more docs to be submitted. Is it right?!

No,it is the same.I have not submitted other documents and they didn't ask for others.I have not followed a specific guide for Albanians when I applied. Yes i have sent my pass last week and looking forward to have it back within the month....let's hope! Dont worry! If they ask for additional docs it will not delay the process...at least in my case. Before i have heard that if they ask u for additional doc it will delay your process and other like this but it was not the case. Keep the faith and dont compare your case to the others bcs we have different stories from each other. Have you paid all the fees:1040 $?

I havent received the pass yet but as i know the visa expire the date that you have done your medicals so you need to entry to canada within this date. They mentioned this in PPR email.

To be honest it doesn't really make sense since the official timeline on the web site to get the visa is 13 months and the med chk expires after 12 months.... :
