Thanks for the advice! No need for GCMS notes until later, if I am passed the normal processing times. If I see people who applied after me getting PPR, I will definitely look into it.commonlawsponsor said:@ Belle
Ah, ok. 13 months before getting married isn't bad at all! The age thing might be a bit of a concern but if that is your only thing I wouldn't worry too much. It is good that you are prepared but as an outsider looking in, I don't think you should be too worried!
If your husband is trying to learn English, tell him to check out Duolingo - https://www.duolingo.com/courses/it
It's free, there is a smart phone app and it isn't too boring. I'm using it to learn Italian.
Are you thinking about ordering GCMS notes?
Thanks Tom. I am well. I guess I become paranoid when Can/Alb was refused. She was 10 years older than her husband. But I suppose in her case, his english wasn't very good and they claimed they didn't speak a common language. My husband and I both speak Italian so I hope that will help...messenger said:Hello Canadian_belle1, How are you
Dont worry about age difference. As long as you can prove an healthy and steady relationship they will not be interested on your age differences.
I am 29 year senior to my wife and there was no cause for any alarm from Vienna and believe Vienna is a VO who is hassling applicants very strictly! Rome is kinda fair on issues like these!
Regards
Tom

I will be taking 3-4 weeks off this summer but I am waiting on Rome to see WHEN I should take my vacation. I'd love to take him home with me without having to spend $$ to go pick him up in the fall.
*sigh* I really hope it works out...

It's totally normal you can count from 2 to even 20 days after aor but the most common it's about 10 daysNiki83 said:i was just wondering,is it normal that i am at day 6 and still havent received SA ?The week doesn't count so Monday it will be day 7.
Ya, don't worry. They sent out AOR by email, and 8 calendar days later it was updated to Decision Made on ECAS (although it said the decision was made the next business day after we got the AOR) and it took 10 calendar days for the letter to reach us via snail mail.Niki83 said:i was just wondering,is it normal that i am at day 6 and still havent received SA ?The week doesn't count so Monday it will be day 7.
