Hallo everyone.

I am an applicant of visa office in Rome after taking Certificate of Quebec. I have 14 months waiting for my PR but nothing. I have send them an enquiry in their webisite and the answer was only this:

"This is to advise you that your file is under review by the visa officer."

The status online at online service ish this:

1.We received your application for permanent residence on January 18, 2016.
2.We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 26, 2016.
3.We started processing your application on March 15, 2016.
4.Medical results have been received.


Is anybody here in the same situation. Im starting to worry because it has been a long time waiting.

Hallo I have linked my sister application with gckey with this maner following.
But this didnt worked for my application. Please can you advice me another method for linking an existing application (QSW level) with my account in Gckey.

Please help me



Create and log to the GCKey account.
==cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/account.asp==

2- Find "Link application to this account" click on it then select on the category (Permanent residence) then on the sub- category (Quebec selected skilled worker)

3- select "Family Name, Given name"

4- Fill up Family Name and first name with CAPITAL LETTERS otherwise it is not gonna work this very important

5- Enter date of birth

6- Fill up city of birth with CAPITAL LETTERS otherwise it is not gonna work this is very important

7- Select your country of birth

8- Do not fill up passport information skip it and just step forward

9-Select on the Province section "Quebec" of course

10- Select the city indicated on your CSQ this is very important otherwise it is not gonna work

11-Choose your your Current status

12- Enter the number of family member. in case after submiting all the info and they can't find you application, just do all the step above and this just enter "1" in the number of family member instead.

13- once your application found

14- Press link application

That's it that's all, I hope this can help

It should work. Please also put the exact number of family members even if they are not accompanying the principal applicant.

Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Can someone please help me understand where my application is standing?

Just to help others that can not link their QSW profile (on paper) with GcKey

For me just worked in this manner (link the paper application with Gckey account in my cic)

Choose
1. Permanent Residence
2. Quebec Selected Skilled Workers
3. Choose Application number and name
4. Fill birthady
5. Do not fill place of birth (hit space only once)
6. Choose your country
7. Do not fill passaport numbers
8. Select Quebec and the city you have written in your Certificate of Quebec
9. Select correctly the number of family members including you as principal applciant.
