can you tell us if your GCKey in (new style) is -Background check "in progress"
because with new style my background check from "in progress" passed to "we are processing your background check"

I don't know if has any changes from "in progress" to "we are processing your background check"
what do you think ?

CIC only changed the semantics of the sentences. Meaning stays the same.
In GCKey:
"In progress" changed to "Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check."
next change should be: "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
That's where the "Lucky dude". ;-)

I have a friend who sent his application in October 2016, received the AOR on February 19th which today receives the request for medical visit and payment of the permanent residence fee ..
We will never understand the logic with which they work.

I sent my PPR on Thursday by UPS and should be there on Monday by the end of the day. What about you? When did you send yours?

We sent ours express with poste italiane on Thursday and they received on Friday. I'll keep you updated if I hear anything do you know once they process the COPR do they update MyCic or ecas ?

I sent it with UPS because I'm already in Canada. They should receive it tomorrow by the end of the day. Yeah keep me updated and ill do the same. From what i know once they receive it, they undergo the final review and once everything is done and your passport is ready they update MyCic and Ecas, but they email you as well saying that your passport is ready for pick up. Sometimes it takes a few days, sometimes it took 2 week for other people, so we just need to wait and see.

Yes, i applied for family sponsorship. Passport arrived in Rome on 17.03.2047.
Now i am just waiting.

Since i haven't received my passport back, I cannot say yet, start to finish, but almost 7 months.
No children,married less than a year. But i don't think time married is as important as proving a
genuine one.
