Don't worry about it at all. I was involved romantically with my husband for just about a year and 4 months! Albanian is not that bad, but i speak 3 additional language so I may be a wee bit biased haha.

Depends what service you used. UPS or DHL or regular post.

Although I did not follow your original post I see that you ar November applicant with Rome.
If as you say they sent a PPR to you it only means one thing! That you are in the very final stage and expect your passport to be sent back to you with the visa stamped on it any day now!

Can you post here the email with then PP request ?

It takes them about 2 weeks give or take from the date you sent it! Hope that helps. Isabelle I just pm-Ed you! I haven't checked this forum because I've been running around finishing my hubby's papers and stuff haha.

Thanks for the info!

We asked the embassy too, and they were so kind to replay.
The average time they gave was around one week, and indeed within 7 working days the passport was back in Albania.
If we may share a encouragement, we would say that for us the overall experience of this process, was quite better than expected!!
( maybe cause of low expectations we had from generally negative comments in forums ).
But looks like Roma office is doing quite a good job!

Rome processed ours in just 5 months (with my Hubby being Albanian) so they are one of the faster offices as long as the documentation is correct and everything! I also found that other than one question in an email he wasn't even asket to go in for an interview so I'd wager they aren't the worst office to draw!

it should have been sent upfront, with your application.
