Here is the timeline of someone I know. Her husband's application was processed in one month time in Rome. I wonder if they found something wrong with ours.

AOR 1 Mar 12/16
Sponsor Approval/Application Transfer Mar 29/16
Passport Request May 4/16
Passport Returned with Visa July 1/16
Landed July 11/16
Permanent Resident Card rec'd Oct 11/16

I really dont know. but if they have found something worng with our applications we should be informed. As i checked throught this forum , more or less , the average time to make a disision is between 2-3 months. Of course it depents case to case but the have passes almost 2 months from the time they started proccesing my application.

Same here, 2 months now since our file is in Rome.
