Unfortunately I've never been to Canada. We didn't know that will be so hard all this waiting and so long :(

Hi, CutiePie92. In June we will have 14 months of waiting and my medical exams I think are expired.. I will have to learn about Caips/Gcms because I don't know what that means and what is the procedure... Thanks for response!

i'm not such an expert either, i never ordered them (just sent the app!).
you can try to log into eCas: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp (you need to provide some details such as UCI number etc.) aand also CAIPS/GCMS notes are , i think, more detailed notes about your own application. so if the VO has some concerns, they wrote it in your electronic file and you can find out what it is. here's the link: https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/privacyTerms.do

you need to pay a 5$ fee but i think it's worth it. it will take around 30 days to arrive.

and about your age difference.. it's usually normal for women to be younger, and i don't think the age gap is so significant ... you can tell us more, how did you meet, since when are you together, the wedding etc .. maybe there are other red flags... orrr maybe just Bucharest is moving slow :( well that's a disappointment

yes...how did u guys meet? is it also important to have a wedding ...how do u think? we did not have a wedding

It's awfully quiet in here. How are you guys doing? What's new with you? Has any of you got any news?

Yes.
Alex have some news. Alex, tell them.

Hello everyone. My wife was requested for passport after 10 month of being in sponsorhisp process. Everytime i ask about the process (how long it's going to take)? and answer is simple 14 month, but i can tell now that it's not true. Every story and every situation is unique, so some people are getting viza open in 6 month and some in 2 years. In cic site we had no changes for way to long, and in 10 month we got request for passport and status imediately changed to in process, and in 7 days it changed to desicion made. I wish you all guys a speedy process. If you have any questions be free to write. Good luck everyone. :)

Alexandr congraaats! :D

it's so quiet, yeah :( i just applied, our app was received on may 9th by CIC . but first stage AOR processing times keep going up :( it's at 52 days now.. i don't want to get my hopes up with Bucharest because i expected ~ 1 month for Mississauga processing but i've never been so wrong lol.. so i'm just stuck here... can't get a TRV to visit my husband either... we're a european country my ass

Congrats again Alex!

Inform us about the landing process. What you done about medical insurance for the first 3 months. Did she bought one in Moldova or you in Canada?

Congrats, Alex! So it's ten months since you send the file to mississauga or ten months since it got to Bucharest?

Cutie pie,

that;s so long! and back then, step 1 approval was at ~28 days.. yours was double.. i noticed you can't really rely on what they say.

anyways, good luck and a speedy process to you! hopefully you'll be there before christmas :)

TX, Cutie Pie!

Hi all,
So, my husband requested to see our file in my name and we have discovered that they claim they requested me to re-send one of the forms specifying all my addresses since I was 18, although that is way beyond the past 10 years as they asked for in the form.
I didn't receive any email or envelope from them and his email address was misspelled.
It makes me very bitter and I wonder if that will delay us any further...

oh no Andie! :( it's so annoying that they mispell an e-mail, like seriously what's so difficult to correctly type it?!

can you see when they "sent" you the e-mail for those additional details? they usually offer you 60 days to send them the files. if i were you i would call them and tell them what happened. maybe you can get them to correct your e-mail adress...

We have sent the form and explained I didn't get any e-mail and also corrected my husband's address... It was an honest mistake, his name is Laur, they thought it was Laura... I wonder if they think we're a lesbian couple :))
