Today my daughter received her passport after one month of waiting, and the date on the visa is starting from March 27! My advice for everybody is: don't send your passport via Cargus, because of their policy you could not pay for the return cost in advance, but they have an option called ‘payment at destination', which we intend to use when the passport is delivered. When my daughter send the passport, nobody told her, than she need to call Canada Embassy and ask if the passport is ready, and after that, she need to order the courier. We thought that when is ready the COPR the embassy will call Cargus... NO! She called yesterday the Embassy and the guy told her: the COPR is ready, and it is your responsibility to order the courier, otherwise we cannot send your passport! Because this misinformation she miss her plane, initially we bought the airplane ticket for April 5, after that we change the date to April 18... Extra 200 dollar. It was a long waiting time, but it was 100 percent our fault.

So, now is everything Ok. My daughter is coming Friday I am so happy.

i emailed the embassy to find about my application and they replyed me: Dear Madam, We hereby confirm that your application is currently being processed by our office. I logged into ECAS and there is no change IN PROCESS. what does it mean? is it in process or not?

Svetlana, did they ask you to send your passport? Because after one week that my daughter send her passport the In Process line changed to Decision Made.

yes Vania..we have almost the same timeline..hopefully this process will end soon...my exclusion order ends in a month..so im happy .....

i have a question - have you submitted just a photocopy for the national ID card or a certified copy (+text in english obviously : )

i just did that for my birth and marriage certificate is it necessary for ID card too ?

I`m not sure if this is necessary, , but I sent everything certified.

Here in Bulgaria, some notary refused me to certify ID card and passport because this is illegal. But other said that this is not true.

vania yeah i had the same problem, some notaries didn't want to certify the ID card for me ... it's understandable 'cause if you have some official stuff to deal with, they ask for a copy and the original of the id card ... but i need to send it abroad so i certified it.

but the passport i didn't certify,they actually say that...
