Hello Betina,

Thank you for responde.I dare to ask you because I read all your posts and help me much in this 13months.I send them a notary declaration where I declaire that I have not left the country in the last six months and we have resided in Romania at the address from Bucharest. Now we must do the medical's exams, again on 21 march.I hope will be togheter for Easter, I miss my love verry much.We must do all meds exams again and I wonder how will takes until the passaport request ?

Thank you

I believe a landing before April 20th is quite unlikely. If you and your daughter need to take the whole med exam again, the results will stay with the panel physician for 1-2 weeks for interpretation. Only than they will be sent to London, where it will take some time to be assessed and the final result communicated to the VO.

More so, it is not sure that, once the meds are done, the processing will be over. When they ask for an extension of the validity of the meds it means for sure that, once the extension is granted, they will issues the passport request - the regulations say that they can ask for the extension only when the expiry of the meds is the only thing preventing them from issuing the visa. But I don't think it's the same for asking for a whole new set of meds - I might be wrong, of course :)

Your husband should be the one requesting them in your behalf, so you will need to print, sign, scan and send him the consent form every time you want to ask for the file.

yessssssss its very quiet...

i try to email the embassy BUCHAREST to find out if my application was received...cause its been almost 8 months and no news. I emailed them 3 weeks ago and no response. any idea what happens? Vania do u have any news?, cause your application has almost the same timeline as mine

Oh, no news.

I wrote them on 9 January , that i sent requested document./ New Schedule A/

On 30 January I received acknowledge the receipt of my documents. And " Your application is currently in queue, pending the assessment of the visa officer."

Since then I wait for "In process", but nothing yet.

when u log on ECAS..it says IN PROCESS?

No. Application received. I`m waiting for that change.

Hi Everybody

I sponsored my daughter who lives in Romania. She send her passport to Bucharest on March 18/2014. Today my and her Ecas status changed to Decision Made:

1.We received your application for permanent residence on March xx, 2013.

2.We started processing your application on January xx, 2014.

3.Medical results have been received.

4.A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

My question is, approximately in how many day they are sanding back the passport with the COPR?
Betina, you have the same number 4 line in your Ecas when you received you passport back?
Thanks.

Ronjer1 how is everything going with the interview of your wife?

Let us all wish Betina Bon Voyage! And all the best in her new life!

bon voyageee...zbor usor Betina

Thank you, AndieRocks and Svetlana. I can confirm that the eagle has landed is having the time of her life :-D

BTW, these people are so relaxed that I almost never realized that I was doing my landing :))))))) It is an awesome country, I can wholeheartedly say that.

Suzy967 - My 4th line still says that. I think it will never change. They updated my home address to the Toronto one, but the 4 lines are still
1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 16, 2013.
2. We started processing your application on January 13, 2014.
3. Medical results have been received.
4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Don't worry, your daughter will get her passport back in no time.

Ooo, Congrats Betina!

Happy new life in Canada.
