Hey guys,

It is so devastating and destroying for me and my wife. I have no words to explain my disappointment with this long process that obviously won't to end up! I feel so unlucky and this process is killing us, day by day, month by month, year by year. When we have started the process, the VO's "timeline" was 6 months but today we are at the fifteenth month as whole and the thirteenth in the VO. At this moment we are waiting for the result of the requested extension (they have requested only the x-rays exam) but for 9 weeks of waiting there is still nothing. I am trying to understand what is going on but I can't..... Sorry to bother you but I need to share.

I can understand your frustration. I am almost at 14 months since we applied and the VO hasn't contacted me at all (file transfer was in June). I requested the notes and they made many mistakes in the file which they tried to solve only to make other mistakes (which they also noticed but they didn't correct them yet). They haven't touched my file since november.

Sorry to hear that, Yasmine and thanks for the support! Did you try to ask them what is going on or they don't respond to you? In fact, at what stage are you now?

I'm 7 months pregnant so soon I will make an inquiry to let them know I will give birth soon and ask them what papers they want me send/update to the babies to the application.

Right now, e-cas says application received and medicals received. GCMS notes says Medicals Passed and Criminality in progress. Security not started, Eligibility not started.

The mistakes they made on the file are hilarious, unbelievable We are applying under "Conjugal". Their conversations went like this:
We applied in February 2012
Mississauga - created the file as "Married Couple" when they processed the sponsorship, around May/June
Bucharest - "Guys, they are not married, it should be Conjugal" - July
Bucharest - creates new file (in August) as "Common-Law couple" - after 10 days (I don't understand how they forgot in 10 days that it's Conjugal!) :-\ (all history regarding processing dates between February and August are now lost, everything was recreated as processed on 02 Aug, like sponsorship, file transfer etc)
Bucharest - "Ooops, they're not Common-Law either, it should be Conjugal" - in November

No changes since now I'm waiting for a new file to be created probably : God knows if right now I'm in February queue or August

I'll wait a couple of months and ask again for the GCMS notes to see what's new ??? and after we add the babies to the application I will have to ask again, to be sure they don't screw up other things...

You could make an inquiry to the VO and ask what are they doing with your file, it should be on someone's desk waiting for the final reviews (it took about 2-3 months for the VO to receive my medicals from what I saw in the notes)

Sorry to hear that everything gos so slow, actually you should get PPR these days, I suggest you to contact VO by email asking about the decision in your file.

I did the same, after almost 6 weeks after I did my x ray I wrote them an email asking about if a decison it was made in my file and after a few days I got PPR by email

Actually I have sent them an e-mail 10-12 days ago hoping to get a passport request but they didn't answer. It is my second request for a month and I worry to send a third one. I hope that your suggestion will happen I have not seen my wife more than year and I don't know why despite that I got my GSPC or GCPS?!

We have sent all our papers last summer,we're currently at the 2nd stage of our app., unfortunately my medicals expired in Nov last year. Just had them redone the 29th of March,I've heard that it takes approximately 4 months for London to send everything to the embassy in Bucharest. My husband will be coming to Romania this summer, we were wondering if it would be possible to get an answer by then. They haven't asked for my passport yet Does anyone have any idea how long do we still have to wait? Not knowing anything is quite frustrating .. No one seems to know anything.. Maybe someone here can give me some answers from their own experience. Thx!

No one could no for sure how much time takes until a decision its made on your file because every file is different, in general the delays are over a year for the lucky ones takes less.

I see you have sent your medicals second time on 29th of march, if VO asked for it that it means a decision in your case was made and you will find out about it sooner or later, depends of VO.

In my opinion you will leave along with your husband next summer to Canada... .

We are in april, summer its very close.
