Risk being away while application is being processed

Hello All,

I have been looking at various posts that describe what happens after AOR and the timelines for different stages, but haven't been able to locate answer to my query, so here goes.

I received my AOR on January 14, 2019. So far, there has been NO further change, not even medical pass. However, I am in no hurry and this does not bother me. I am planning to travel away from my country for about 4-5 weeks. So, my questions are:
1. When I am away, if there is a status update and further action is required from me, what is it likely to be at this stage? for eg. further medical tests, biometric requests or further documents needed etc.? If so, how much time do I have to get this? I have to rush back to India for the same. Can CIC provide an extension if I explain I am out of country and need more time or will my application be rejected?
2. How much of it can be done outside India, from wherever I am? for eg. if further medical tests or biometrics or passport submission is needed, can I do it from any approved center in any country?
3. I am planning to come back and join a new full time job, hence the vacation since I wont have so much free time for a few years after that. Also, if I am joining a new employer, should I update my application? It will be falling under a new NOC.

for 4-5 weeks, chances are you may get query for medical only for which, you may have to appear for medical in your country for medicals... I doubt they allow this to happen in some other country than your country of residence.. within 1 month, there are less chances of crossing IP1 and going in other background checks.. so dont worry.. otherwise if someone can arrange docs in your home country then only scan copies what CIC asks for so rest almost everything can be done online

Thanks! But to reiterate, my AOR was on Jan 14, so a month has already passed before I begin travelling. So it will be 4-5 weeks after one month of AOR.
