return tracker not activated

Hi All,

Facing a really weird issue.
My application was received on 20th November and I got an approved notification on 6th December. I had earlier raised a webform regarding the status of my application and they replied on the 10th December that my passport has been mailed on the 6th December. they also provided the return tracker id. I checked the return tracker id online and it did not even have an origin scan. Upon checking the same with UPS, they told me that they have never received the package. I again raised an IRCC web form asking for more details about how my package was mailed.
I got a mail today that they have verified my info and can confirm that my passport was mailed on the 5th December (earlier they said 6th). They did not give any further details. Anybody faced a similar issue?

the tracker got activated eventually. The passport was not mailed on the 5th or 6th, as they had communicated

Thanks a lot for the reply brother. I am really stressed. Do you recall which date the tracker got activated?

in my case, I sent the post with return on 10th Feb,IRCC received it on 11th, my PR got approved on 13th and when I called today to IRCC they said me that they have sent it to fedex on 14th-FEB. Today when I called fedex they are saying that they have not received the shipment and therefore opened the enquiry for the same.

I have no idea what to do next. Which is the date they actuallay sent to UPS location in your case and why did they give you wrong information in the web form?

Pretty similar experience as mine. Only difference I could not call IRCC, I sent them a mail and would get a standard reply that they have already mailed on certain date and that I should check with UPS. UPS said they did not receive the package. Finally the return tracker got activated on 21st December and I got my passport of 23rd
