Hello , i have a friend her work permit has expired on last may but since march he apply on paper for extension work permit with same employer but she get answer this week from the cic they ask her to sent its by fax copy of nomination certificate and a statement from the province (R204) . she fax the certificat of nomination and she that letter (R204) from the province but need time to get it .but after 4 days from the first request they sent her a letter to refers her refused her application for a extension work permit and advise her that her temporary status expired the same day? they ask her to apply for restoration within 90 days .
My question is she can still working or she have to stop working till she get her new work permit ?
