Hi there, I will post my doubt in hope to find some clarification:
On May 2nd (the day I got my completion letter from Sheridan College) I applied for my PGWP. The same day my wife quit her job and applied together on my profile for the extension of her work permit. Our permits were good to July 30 at that time for both (my student and her openwork)
I had a Job Offer from CIBC, NOC b position but needed to enter the implied status to start. I fail miserably by not updating my job letter explaining my duties as per NOC position and adding the Paystubs. The result, I got my PGWP and her work permit was declined.
The problem is that we just received the response on August 8 (date of her refusal) and by that date, she lost her status (even that we had applied more than 90 days before the expiry date). I just received the formal PGWP letter from the mail on 21 so we can re-apply for the restoration of her status.
Doubts:
1) We have the multiple entry visa on our passports. Any chance we get her extension on the border? I read a lot about that if she leaves she will lose the chance to apply for restoration, but can a new open work permit of an accompanying spouse be issued at the border? Did not find any information on this.
2) Her application must be made on a new login at CIC of her profile lonely? Because of the first multiple entry visas and after that, my student visa with her work permit as accompanying spouse were both made on my profile. I am not sure if we can file her Restoration application on the same.
3) On my "NOC letter" signed by my supervisor and big bank branch manager, on a letterhead paper from the bank and stamped, the description of my duties are exactly the same from the NOC 6235 (b). Some people told me that by being the exact "copy & paste" it could be a matter, but my role on the bank is the one described in the NOC: Financial Services (sales) Representative. It is better to rewrite? (I cannot see much sense on doing this).
