Document everything as possible with regards on the process of how will you get the police clearance.Faizan19 said:Thanks. But what if i dont get certificate with in time ??? i am very worried.
You don't have to submit your police clearance when you submit your application. This can be done on later stages, they will ask for it. Send off your application without the police certificate and add it on once you receive it. If you are fussy about this you can compose a letter and explain the situation. They extend it for 60 days apparently.farnorth said:Hi Guys,
I'm in a bit of a predicament I received my ITA July 13 2016 and was getting ready to submit my e-APR when i noticed that i require an FBI Clearance report as i have visited the US on holiday multiple times and cumulatively it adds up to 6 month. I was not aware of this rule until now, so now I am applying for FBI clearance but this process take about 14 weeks and my work permit is about to expire so i have to submit my e-APR in order to apply for a work permit extension do you think CIC will give me an extension for FBI clearance? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

They might, but in lieu of the PCC, you have to submit a letter of explanation and proof that you have applied...farnorth said:I'm in a bit of a predicament I received my ITA July 13 2016 and was getting ready to submit my e-APR when i noticed that i require an FBI Clearance report as i have visited the US on holiday multiple times and cumulatively it adds up to 6 month.
