Required documentation for visitor visa.

Hello All,

I'm planning to visit US Consulate,Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada for my USA Visa stamping and planning to apply for visitor visa at Los Angeles. In the checklist of the documents, it is mentioned that Original I-797 need to be submitted, but I heard from some of my friends who successfully got their visitor visa by submitting the copy of I-797. I wonder, if somebody could share their first hand experience of sending I-797 copy instead of original, while applying for visitor visa.

We just applied for my parents and we sent the Original I-94 along with the PP.

Got back the Stamped PP along with the original I-94.
Make sure you send the PP through certifiied express mail and also send a return envelope with a certified express mail with signature required.
