requesting IRB decision (full documents)

Hi!
My husband was a failed refugee claimant, we got an email requesting the IRB descision which we cant seem to find.
Does anyone now were i can obtai this document?

You can get a copy of the documents at the Immigration and Refugee Board, same place where he had his hearing , the other option is to ask his lawyer for a copy, if he is not in Canada you will need authorization from your husband to request the documents on his behalf

Would i just go in person to the place where he had his hearing?
Is there a specific form for the authorization from my husband?
Do you by any chance now how long it takes to obtain documents?

Im not sure about the specific form but my suggestion would be to call the lawyer first, find out if the lawyer has a copy of the documents , sometimes they shredded them after a year. Lawyers will accept a simple letter with his signature if the lawyer doesn't have them then go to the IRB and ask them what kind of authorization they need , I think they can give you a copy within a week, depends on the IRB (Immigration and Refugee Board), Good Luck.
He may also need a copy of his departure form, the paper they gave him at the airport when he left Canada
