Request new photographs for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Hi, I am Korean and new PR.
Anyone has the same situation as mine?

I landed last March; then, I got a mail requesting new photos in May. Unfortunately, I've been still waiting my PR card. They requested new photos again last week. I called to CIC and emailed, but they just answered "send new photos". I cannot understand why I have to send photos again.

I have similar problem for my son they request new photo and I sent these again they ask me to submit new photo
I am sure the second one was correct
Please can any one help us

Send them new photos from outside Canada, it's perfectly ok.

They would ask you to submit the same spec Photos as ppr.

Hey,

So I got my PR card and my spouse did not. She got a letter to say her photographs did not meet the specifications, but some how mine did and they were the exact same!!!!!!!

We are travelling to the Caribbean in 2 weeks for a wedding that we are both in the bridal and groom parties!

They never took our work permits when we landed so she can still technically board the plane but will she get hassle when we land in Toronto with her CoPR? Even if we explain what happened. Its kind of CIC's fault too, as how can my photographs be ok and her's are not? Both were the same size and taken in shoppers!

I guess major people do not write their name and date of birth on same photo where studio stamp. Hence they get request for new photographs for PR Card.

Yes you can. You can also send directly to CIC from abroad.

Landed on 30-Oct-2016 , Changed Address on 05-12-2016 , Cards in Production Status told by CIC call Centre on 19-Dec-2016 , Can any one share what do we mean by Cards in Production and how long it may take to get cards? Do still CIC may ask for revised Photos? Or Production means final decision ? Thanks.
