Request for Health Insurance Plan Advice

Hi everyone,

I live in with my wife in Montreal, Quebec. I am a Ph.D. student at McGill.

Currently, I have a health insurance plan provided by the university. However, my wife has a private insurance plan from our country, not in Canada. We would like to have a health insurance plan in Montreal, Quebec, especially for our future plans (e.g., baby ). Could you give us some suggestions about the health insurance plan for my wife?

What is her status? Is she working? Doesn't McGill provide coverage for spouses?
