Hi Everyone,
Need some urgent info on renouncing Canadian PR and Re-applying
I'm already living in Canada and thinking about renouncing my PR status here due to some personal issues back home

What i want to know is, how soon can i re-apply after i have renounced my PR here

I advice u not to renounce ur PR status unless u never want to come back to Canada as a PR. Now since u have ur PR, u can go back to ur home, finish ur business there and come back. Provided u meet the residency requirement of staying 730 days in Canada u can easily renew ur PR card. Applying for new PR will not be easy as the rule changed and express entry will be tough.

You can be outside for as long as 3 years at a stretch on the same PR you have now.
If your personal issue going to take more than 3 years to sort?
You sound eager to re-apply asap, which makes me think you do not really need this long of a break.

Not eager to re-apply, Express Entry is tough as stated above and i'm already in Canada as a PR
This is just incase if i don't meet the residency obligations, Traveling on and off

Wanted to know for a personal record before i commit and regret it later, that's all...
