Renewing US Passport

Any other US citizens having trouble renewing their passports from in Canada?

My wife's renewal package arrived and was entered into the tracking system on February 9. It's still just marked as Processing.

We've called, and they told us two weeks ago that an urgent notice would be placed on it. There have still been no updates, though about a week ago we received a phone message saying it was processing.

We had no expected travel date at the time of application, but an unexpected trip came up and we'll be leaving June 1. We have alerted them of this.

We're getting kind of anxious, though. Nothing seems to have changed, it's still not shipped, and it'll be 11 weeks on Friday. It can take 2 weeks for mail to reach us from the US...

Thoughts? Experiences? We're worried.

I renewed my passport from Canada in 2009 (applied at the US consulate in Toronto). I recall it took a few months to get it. I can't remember exactly how long, it was probably 2-3 months if I had to guess.

Oh dear... And that was all the way back in 2009. It's purportedly moved along in the processing, but I'm still worried we won't have it in time. That's not great. I'll just have to keep on being a pain and trying to follow up, I guess.
