My mother had her passport renewed. Her older passport had Canadian visa only till the passport validity date. I Want to renew her tourist visa for her new passport.
Question:
1. Do I have to apply the same afresh through IRCC portal (ignoring biometrics as they are still valid) or is there any process of faster renewal (eg. for USA, you need to apply online and drop the visa at the embassy and no need for any interviews, etc.)
2. In case I also want to apply for their PR, any suggestions if I should apply PR after visa renewal, or can do it in parallel, or any other suggestion based on experiences?
