Hello group,

I hope things move fast from here on.
Very happy for you. Very long wait for the pass but I hope very quick PPR for you

Finally!! I am glad to know that.
I hope you get the PPR soon.
Thanks to you and @nns14 for your kind words. I am in my 21st month of wait, I still remember the kind of excitement I used to have around 7-8 month mark. So much time has now passed that this Canada PR has just become a normal thing for me.
however, with that said, the day I receive my PPR email will be one of the happiest days of my life :)

Re-medical itself is a very positive sign. Dont get your hopes too high, but feel happy that there is something going on in the right direction.

Congratulations man, that was a long wait, longer than my case (13 months).
Idk if you have gotten PPR yet, but my timeline after medical extension was:
=> Around Jan 20, 2020, medical extension was requested
=> Jan 23, 2020, medical extension passed
=> Feb 10, 2020, landing interview email, almost 20 days of waiting

Update, officially became PR yesterday.

Hello everyone,
Finally got the golden email.

Thanks for your word of caution. Just curious - any reason you say that?

No no.. nothing to scare you.. its just that this whole process have been so exhausting.. and no one knows whats going to happen.. i think i read of a few cases, inspite of re-medical some haven't received PPR mail even after 1.5 months..
Hopefully you don't fall under any of this.. all good will happen..
i got my PPR request exactly a week after re-medicals passed

Guys my Medical expired on 20th March, I received a GU today, is it possible that it's for remed request ? Do you receive a message in your profile?

Thanks for the answer. I logged on again this morning and I saw another GU but this time the medical message changed to : you do not need medical we will send you a message when this changes.
So I believe I should receive a request soon ? Is it ?
Edit:
As my medical expired on 20th March, does it mean it is automated or most likely a final decision was made ?

As I understand, it is most likely an indication of a final decision if one receives a remedical request. In current stage, I guess your case is beginning to move on and you will probably receive remedical request soon.
