Hi friends ,

I got my results today. This was my first attempt.

LRWS - 9/8/7/6.5

I believe I did well during the speaking test and I was confident and happy about my performance. I was actually worried about my writing. But as they say IELTS results indeed surprises people.

Should I apply for remarking? I need 7 for speaking What do you guys think?
If you are confident, go for it. And considering you have cleared the most difficult part (writing), it is worth a try.

Hello Everyone,
I sat for for my test- general training IDP on 6th april and my score LRSW-8.5 8.5 7.5 6.5. I applied for EOR- Writing on 26th April 2018. Can you folk please let me know when can I expect an update ? As this was my first time, I do not have much idea of what are the chances of getting a .5 boost to my score through EOR, but I am hopeful.
Standard SLA is 2 to 21 days. But IDP is fast as compared to BC so you might receive an update in a week or so

I had applied for EOR at IDP India on April 22nd and received an email on May 6th saying that my score has changed. I have mailed my original TRF to the Head office, only then IDP will send the new TRF. But thanks to other people on this forum who mentioned that you don't have to wait to get new TRF. You can check your result on IELTS Essential.

Congratulations! I also applied for writing re-evaluation. Praying that my score increases from 6.5 to 7.
My score before EOR - LRWS - 9,8,6.5,7.5
My score after EOR - LRWS - 9,8,6.5, 8

So disappointed. I did really well and was really hoping for 7 in writing. But unfortunately speaking increased by 0.5, and writing still 6.5.
Good thing is I got full refund, bad thing is I have to write IELTS 4th time now .

Hi everyone,
My first attempt result
Date: 1st March
L6, R7, W6.5, S7

Second attempt result:
Date: 27th April
L8 , R7W, W6, S8

I practiced more writing and listening, finally my listening score jumped to 8 but unfortunately even after more practice writing score went down.
Should i try for revaluation ? I need 7 in writing.

Hello,

My wife's IELTS score for May 13th as below

Listening - 8.0
Reading - 9.0
Speaking - 8.0
Writing - 7.5

We want to get a remark for Listening so it can move to 8.5, this will give her the full CLB 10 score. I would like to know if anyone has experience it listening remark and if its possible score can move up.

Thanks.
What resources will help to get 7.5 in writing pls help

I had
L - 8.5
R - 7
S - 7.5
W - 6

I opted for EoR and got
L - 8.5
R - 7
S - 7.5
W - 7

My case had two odds: 1) There was difference of more than 2 with other section, 2) I was expecting a jump of a band, which I was told not to expect by many.

I believe If you are confident of your writing, you should opt for EoR.
In how many modules you filed eor? Pls help

Successful remark:
Location: Canada
Test date: April 6th 2019
Test result: April 17th 2019
Score: L: 8.5, R: 8.0, W: 6.5, S: 8.0

Applied for EOR and got response on April 30th 2019
Result: L: 8.5, R: 8.0, W: 7.0, S: 8.0

It was a wild ride but my IELTS journey ends here. Good luck to anyone who's still waiting and planning to apply for EOR. If you have any question, I will try to answer to the best of my ability.
Hi, did you take the test from IDP or BC? Did you apply in person or by email? I’ll apply for it in Canada and want to find out a bit more details

Hi Everyone,

With motivation from this thread applied for EOR on writing section. I’m pretty much confident after comparing my writing with sample essays.

Score : L8.5/R9/S7/W6.5

Can any one who took test from USA please let me know how many days does it take to get EOR result and also got your score increased when applied through ELS centers.

Thanks in advance.
