Hello,
My outland application for PR is currently under process, and I am in Canada under a visitor record.
I have just applied for a job for a religious organization, and I would be required to organize events that would lead people to grow deeper in their faith. I was researching online on the CIC website and I noticed that jobs for religious purposes (clergy/lay people) may not require a work permit.
My main question consists of two parts: would this category of work require a work permit or not? If I do need a work permit, what should the salary be? Is there a set rule on how much one can or cannot be paid?
Someone with expertise on this please advise.
