Relative as an In-Home caregiver

hello!! I’m new here and I would to ask if ever you experienced sponsoring a relative in the Philippines as a caregiver? Were you approved or refused? Your input will be greatly appr

You would still be required to go through the LIMA process and prove there is no one in Canada capable doing the job. The relative would also need to meet the training/experience requirements for a caregiver. Not that it is impossible, but be aware that IRCC often views hiring relatives as caregivers as immigration of convenience.

@Buletruck ,Yes I know. I already have a positive LMIA and the relative already passed the work permit application. I’m looking for some references on what the chances are.. The case is a bit complicated because she was first sponsoring by my then boyfriend now my husband through family sponsorship since she was my husbands daughter but was denied so we opted for this way.
