Do I have to put in my relationship history about my ex-husband?

February 2011 - we got married for the sake of getting him in the UAE in the future.
April 2011 - I went to UAE unfortunately after few months he broke up with me, he cannot stand a long distance relationship.

Now he has his own family, and I already have a boyfriend. Lucky for me, i did not change my marriage status so all my travel documents and some other important documents are still in "single" status. He filed an annulment early this year, as he wants to get married again.

Do i still have to mention this in the application form? Coz I want to include my bf in my application as my common-law partner.

Write truth only. it may delay ur case for couple of months but lying is called misrepresentation

Be honest when you are applying.

Yes, you have to explain in detail everything.

Now he has his own family, and I already have a boyfriend. Lucky for me, i did not change my marriage status so all my travel documents and some other important documents are still in "single" status. He filed an annulment early this year, as he wants to get married again.

You have to mention this marriage in the application forms. You can either get divorced, or just wait for the annulment. However, you can sponsor someone else as your common-law partner, even if you are still married. You just need proof that the marriage is over.

You are married, regardless of what your documents say or the fact that he's filed for annulment. You must declare this in the app. Not doing so is misrepresentation and can result in your app being refused and you being banned from Canada.

You can still include your common-law partner in your PR app if you've actually lived together continuously for a year.

As this is not a Family Class app, post your future queries in the Express Entry section of the forum.

Thank you guys for the advice, it really means a lot!
